Crys-Talc® 4H by Magris Performance Materials is a high purity, high brightness, platy, medium size talc used in adhesive and sealant formulations to reduce hard settling, improve sag resistance and maximize prime pigment extension.
  • It is used in solid color and semitransparent wood stains to prevent tannin bleed and improve gloss uniformity without introducing abrasive characteristics.
  • It It is used in polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC and other plastic based applications to achieve maximum stiffness.
  • It is available in densified or compacted form to improve feeding, enhance extrusion throughput and reduce dusting.
  • It may also be used in rigid packaging, appliances and thermoformed products to increase the modulus of elasticity, modulus of rupture, and HDT.
  • It helps reduce water diffusion, weight gain, swelling in water, loss of elasticity, and rupture modulus in moist environments.
  • Crys-Talc® 4H also improves warpage resistance, creep resistance, dimensional stability and elastic recovery.
