Klarix® XIT

Klarix® XIT by LANXESS is a non-biocidal additive which enables the use of biocidal active ingredients like chloromethylisothiazolinone (CIT) and methylisothiazolinone (MIT) during its production with the ability to fully or partially remove these biocides after their action. The additive works by breaking down CIT and MIT rapidly leaving no residual traces in the final product. This allows the creation of end products that are either biocide-free or contain significantly reduced biocide levels. Klarix® XIT is based on harmless components which is easily soluble in water. It offers flexibility and ease of use without the need for dilution. It is widely used in adhesives.
