DOWICIL™ QK-20

DOWICIL™ QK-20 by LANXESS is a fast-acting, formaldehyde-free biocide that is ideal for reducing microbiological contamination in raw materials or products such as adhesives and caulks. It provides broad-spectrum control of bacteria, fungi, and yeast. It can be used effectively in combination with long-term preservatives to reduce the bio-burden and minimize the likelihood of organism tolerance. DOWICIL™ QK-20 lowers the chances for field failure, product recall, product rework, or downtime. It offers good compatibility and prevents contamination problems without shutting down or delaying production and without undesirable effects on your finished product. It exhibits a half-life of about 9 hours.
