ARBOCEL® Alginate 125 by JRS Rettenmaier acts as a rheology modifier. The sodium alginate is a creamy-white to yellow powder with brown algae as the basic raw material. Offers reversible thermal gelation. It can produce temperature stable and transparent film. The light yellow viscous solution can react with Ca-ions to form strong gels. ARBOCEL® Alginate 125 is suitable for use in adhesive applications. The recommended shelf life of the grade is 12 months.
