Low viscosity, low odor, biodegradable, liquid diamine. Possesses an odd carbon, ethyl-branched, asymmetric structure and differential amine reactivity. Used as a comonomer or a curative in polyamide monomers for amorphous and low molecular weight resins. Can be used in adhesives and sealants. Offers low polymer viscosity, crystallinity and Tg. Increases flexibility and polymer free volume. Possesses very low glass point. Lowers melt points. Improves flow, penetration, wetting, and solubility.
