Capa® 2043

Capa® 2043 by Ingevity is a standard grade low molecular weight, linear polyester diol derived from caprolactone (terminated by primary hydroxyl groups). Possesses low viscosity, low impurities and shows consistent crystallization. Exhibits outstanding flexibility even at low temperatures, excellent strength and abrasion resistance and a controlled and consistent open time. Provides strong adhesion on difficult and sensitive substrates including leather and shows a lasting outdoor performance for polyurethane materials. It is non-toxic and biodegradable. Shows a fast wetting process and benefits in durable joints even in humid environments. Capa® 2043 is recommended for use in waterborne, solvent-based and hot-melt polyurethane adhesives.
