High molecular weight, polyvinyl chloride made by emulsion polymerisation. Used in the preparation of medium-plasticised plastisol for spraying in under-sealing compounds for motor vehicles. Provides pseudoplastic rheological behaviour, very good adhesion to textiles or primer coated metal (cataphoresis and anaphoresis), easy air release, low uptake of moisture, good resistance to graining and good mechanical properties.
