Omnicat BL 550 by IGM Resins acts as a cationic photoinitiator. It is a blend of 20% 9H-thioxanthenium, 10-[1,1' biphenyl]-4-yl-2-(1-methylethyl)-9-oxo, hexafluorophosphate and 55% cycloaliphatic epoxy. It is designed for UV radiation curing system. It provides through-, LED and surface cure. Omnicat BL 550 is suitable for clear-, white- and pigmented systems.
