METHOCEL™ 310 Series by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. It is used in adhesives. It retains water and provides binding, thickening, film forming and lubricating properties. METHOCEL™ 310 Series also increases plywood strength by boosting laminating adhesive performance. The thermal gelation and thickening properties keep the adhesive from soaking into the wood.
