Jeffamine® M-3085 Amine by Huntsman is a hydrophilic polyether monoamine of approximately 3000 molecular weight with a PO/EO mole ratio of about 8/58. Exhibits moderate viscosity and low vapor pressure and its amine end group more reactive than alcohol. Provides improved flexibility from polyether backbone, increased surface energy (hydrophilicity and polarity) from polyethyleneglycol backbone and surfactant properties to modify a variety of resin types. Jeffamine® M-3085 Amine is used in pressure sensitive adhesives. It is listed in TSCA, DSL, AICS, ECL and IECSC.
