Primol™ 382 by ExxonMobil acts as a diluent. It is a purified blend of saturated hydrocarbon. It is obtained from petroleum through purification by catalytic hydrogenation. It provides very good color and oxidative stability. It is suitable for extension of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) such as SBS, SEBS and SEPS. It combines low volatility & excellent compatibility with polystyrene for optimal performance in general purpose & high impact PS grades. Primol™ 382 is recommended for hot-melt adhesives formulations used in sanitary products.
