Exxon™ Bromobutyl 2244 by ExxonMobil Chemical is a brominated copolymer of isobutylene and isoprene. It is used in adhesives and sealants. It possesses low permeability to air, gases and moisture, fast cure rates, low glass transition temperature and wide vulcanization versatility. It offers benefits such as resistance to ageing and to weathering from atmospheric exposure and vibration damping. Exxon™ Bromobutyl 2244 contains non-staining antioxidant as an additive.
