Polycat® SA-102

Polycat® SA-102 by Evonik is a delayed action tertiary amine used as a catalyst in adhesive applications. It promotes the urethane (polyol-isocyanate) reaction in microcellular, rigid, integral skin and elastomer applications. It is non-hydrolyzable and activated under application of heat with fast demold time. It can be used in applications that require a delayed activation from heat generated by the urethane and urea reactions. Polycat® SA-102 extends foam mass flow time for complex mold configurations and causes heat-accelerated back-end cure.
