DYNACOLL® Terra EP 481.01 by Evonik is a medium molecular weight, saturated polyester polyol. It has 100% renewable content. It gives the reactive hot-melt a high degree of flexibility. It inherent flame retardancy, which ensures that additional flame retardants are not required to be added to the formulation. It is a green alternative to the petrochemical polyols and formulations prepared using this bio-based polyol exhibit properties comparable to those of petrochemically based polyesters. DYNACOLL® Terra EP 481.01 is used in reactive hot-melt adhesives.
