THIXATROL® AS 8053 by Elementis is diamide-based low temperature activation rheological modifier and highly effective organic thixotrope. It is labeling-free and is based on renewable raw material sources. It is a seed resistant additive for solvent-borne and high solids systems. Used in both MSP and SPUR hybrid sealants. Provides excellent thick layer sag resistance. Allows low temperature activation, processing and packaging. It is recommended at a dosage level of 0.5-3.5%. THIXATROL® AS 8053 has a shelf life of 4 years.
