RHEOLATE® 101

Supplied byElementis- Last Updated on Jan 22, 2025

RHEOLATE® 101 by Elementis is a non-freezing, economical and versatile, alkali swellable acrylic-based associative thickener. It offers high thickening efficiency in the medium-shear-rate range, high mid-shear range viscosity, good anti-settling properties and very good pigment suspension properties.
  • It reduces syneresis, spattering during roller application and paint preparation time.
  • It improves freeze/thaw stability and corrosion resistance.
  • It maintains gloss levels, resists viscosity loss, and re-thickens enzyme-spoiled paint.
  • It is compatible with clay-based thickeners, as well as cellulosic and urethane associative thickeners.
  • It is easily incorporated, reduces paint preparation time, and eliminates the need to handle viscous liquids.
  • RHEOLATE® 101 is used in water-borne systems such as adhesives and sealants.
  • Recommended dosage level is up to 3%.
  • It has a shelf life of 2 years.
