Finntalc M50LV by Elementis is a functional extender-based on hydrated magnesium silicate. It is a pure, lamellar, coarse particle size talc, exhibiting stable color, high hydrophobicity, inertness, and softness. It exhibits good barrier properties, good corrosion resistance and good sandability with reduced VOC emissions.
  • It is purified in a cascade of multiple flotation cells, resulting in a precise definition of the talc composition, making this natural product similar to a synthetic chemical.
  • In combination with a precisely controlled particle size distribution, it ensures exact reproducibility in formulations.
  • It is characterized by special low viscosity impact and reduced oil absorption.
  • It is used in adhesives and polyester putties.
  • Finntalc M50LV has a shelf life of 5 years.
