BENAQUA® 5000

BENAQUA® 5000 by Elementis is an easily dispersible, polymer modified clay-based rheological modifier. It is designed for tile mortars, textured and plasterboard. It is especially useful in dry systems where water is added prior to use.

• It provides high viscosity in low- to medium-shear-rate region, superior sag resistance at low package and improved shear-thinning rheology.
• It also improves workability and open time and offers excellent suspension and enhanced textured effects.
• It is designed for water-borne ready mixed and powder adhesives, tile adhesives, mastics and sealants.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.3-2.0% by weight.
• BENAQUA® 5000 has a shelf life of 4 years.
