BENAQUA® 4000 by Elementis is a polymer modified clay-based rheological modifier. It is an easily dispersible powder designed for water-borne, ready mixed & powder adhesives, mastics and sealants.
  • It provides excellent suspension and high viscosity in the low to medium-shear-rate region.
  • Offers superior sag resistance at low package viscosity compared with conventional thickeners as well as improved shear-thinning rheology.
  • It has good storage stability at elevated temperature, freeze/thaw stability and enzyme resistance.
  • It gives very good suspension, efficient spray atomization, minimized mud cracking, enhanced textured and stippling effects.
  • The recommended dosage level is 0.3-2.0% by weight.
  • BENAQUA® 4000 has a shelf life of 2 years.
