Modified ethylene-methyl acrylate copolymer. Offers low seal initiation, high burst strength and filament-free die cutting. Used as a sealing layer for lidding applications. Provides peelable seals over a broad temperature range to a number of container materials including PET, PVC, PS and PP. It can be used in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene resins. Suitable for extrusion coating, cast and blown film processes. Recommended for use in lidding for diary-, beverage-, snack packaging as well as hot-fill and microwave applications. Complies with FDA status 21 CFR 177.1340.
