Surlyn™ 1601-2 by Dow is ethylene acid copolymer resin with its acid groups partially neutralized with sodium ions. Used as a seal layer in flexible packaging. Possesses very good hot tack strength, low sealing temperatures and wide sealing temperature range. Surlyn™ 1601-2 offers benefits such as formability, clarity and oil & grease resistance.
