Maxemul™ 6106

Supplied byCroda- Last Updated on Jan 31, 2025

Maxemul™ 6106 by Croda is an anionic, co-polymerizable surfactant designed for use as a stabilizer in latex binders typically used in pressure-sensitive adhesives and sealants. It is reactive towards vinylic unsaturated monomers and offers an emulsification effect. It enhances the colloidal stability of the latex and improves dry film properties. It is effective during the particle nucleation and growth stage. It is used in dry films with high water repellency & superior barrier properties and in pigmented films with improved pigment binding properties. Maxemul™ 6106 is compatible with acrylic, vinylic and UV polymeric systems.
