Desmocoll® 540 HV by Covestro is a high viscosity, linear polyester polyurethane based on 4,4'-diphenyl methylene diisocyanate (MDI). Used in adhesives. Provides high rate of crystallization and high heat strength, low heat-activation temperature, high green strength and very good bond performance at elevated temperature. Suits for bonding highly plasticized polyvinyl chloride, textiles, leather, rubber, wood and other substrates. Desmocoll® 540 HV offers improved adhesion to rubber.
