Desmocap® 11A

Desmocap® 11A by Covestro is a branched aromatic urethane polymer with ether groups, containing crosslinking, blocked isocyanate groups. Its relatively high viscosity can be reduced by adding low viscosity plasticizers such as benzyl octyl adipate, trioctyl phosphate, benzyl butyl phthalate etc.

• It is designed for sealing compounds.
• It is compatible with liquid epoxy resins.
• It has higher flexibility and its improved outdoor resistance can be achieved by adding antioxidants.
• It can be used to formulate liquid, solvent-free polyurethane systems that are further used in construction, housing, footwear and flooring applications.
• Desmocap® 11A modified epoxy systems exhibit reduction of the glass transition temperature range and improved adhesion.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months.
