Aromatic specialty polyol. It is a bio-renewable diol with a primary and secondary hydroxyl group. Exhibits high reactivity and low exothermic nature. Provides formulation flexibility, improved surfactant properties and increased flame-retardancy. Highly miscible with standard polyols and blowing agents. Compatible with pre-polymer isocyanate for use in rigid and flexible foam formulations. Used for load modification in MDI flexible foam formulations, resulting in lower density systems. Applications include adhesives. Certified by USDA (90%).
