Viscoatex™ 46 by Coatex (Arkema Group) is an anionic acrylic emulsion copolymer. Acts as a thickener for water based systems. Offers very high heat stability. Exhibits improved brushability and water retention. It stops sagging & synresis and gives a good body to the coating without decreasing brushability. Compatible with most extenders, mineral pigments and polymer emulsions. Used in neutral or alkaline pH. Applications include high strength adhesives.
