THIXOL™ 53 L by Coatex (Arkema Group) is a water-borne acrylic thickener and rheology modifier. Designed for tapes and pressure sensitive adhesives. Offers improved transfer and high film thickness. Recommended dosage level ranges between 0.1-1% of dry product on total formulation, which in most cases is below 0.5%. THIXOL™ 53 L has a shelf life of 6 months.
