Polyglykol® AM 1100 by Clariant is a polyethylene glycol allyl methyl ether. It is a waxy solid ethoxylated, end-capped with allyl and a methyl group.
  • It is hydrophilic, biodegradable and soluble in water.
  • It offers relatively high heat resistance and low toxicity.
  • It shows low sodium content, greatly enhances hydrophilicity and improves biocompatibility of silicones & polymers.
  • Polyglykol® AM 1100 is used in the hydrophilic modification of polymers.
