Nipacide® DBS by Clariant is a VOC-free mixture of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT) and 1,2-dibromo-2,4-dicyanobutane (DBDCB) based on an in-can biocide/fungicide/bactericide. It prevents microbial growth. The recommended dose level is 0.1-0.3%. Nipacide® DBS complies with following regulations: FDA 175.105, FDA 176.180, BfR XIV, BfR XXXVI, EU directives 1999/13EC and EU directives 2004/42/EC.
