Exolit® OP 550 by Clariant is a highly effective, reactive, non-halogenated, flame retardant phosphorus polyol. It possesses low functionality and medium viscosity liquid for easy processing. It can be chemically reacted into the PU matrix, preventing unwanted migration from the material. It offers very stringent emission standards for flexible polyurethane foams, including both polyether- and polyester polyol-based materials.
  • It is suitable for low VOC applications, allows meeting demanding emission standards like fogging.
  • It is efficient even at low dosages, with favorable environmental and health profile.
  • It can be used as a replacement for replace scrutinized volatile flame retardants including TCPP.
  • Exolit® OP 550 is designed for production of automotive slabstock & molded foams, adhesives and sealants.
  • It has a shelf life of 12 months.
