Supplied byClariant- Last Updated on Nov 2, 2023

Exolit® AP 468 by Clariant acts as a halogen-free, micro-encapsulated flame retardant. It is based on a non-hygroscopic, non-flammable, and highly water-resistant ammonium polyphosphate (APP).
  • Manufactured from long-chain phase II APP by micro-encapsulation with melamine formaldehyde resin according to a unique method of the Clariant.
  • Provides low viscosity in aqueous suspension, lower heat stability, and improved powder flowability.
  • Recommended for adhesives and sealants at a dosage rate of 10-20%.
  • Exolit® AP 468 is suggested for PU resins, epoxy, or unsaturated polyester resins.
