Pripol™ 1012 by Cargill is a distilled dimer acid with high purity and high difunctionality. It imparts enhanced properties for epoxy, polyurethane, polyester and polyamide systems. It provides high toughness and excellent hydrolysis- & chemical resistance. It exhibits excellent sealant & protective properties, and flexibility down to low temperatures. Pripol™ 1012 is designed for use in adhesives and sealants. Offers hydrolytic stability for a longer lifetime when exposed to humid conditions. It can also be used in conjunction with flexible substrates. It provides pigment wetting by allowing high loading of pigment/fillers which can bring cost savings.
