Optislip™ S (Powder)

Optislip™ S (Powder) (Formerly Crodamide™ S (Powder)) by Cargill is a non-vegetable origin, fast-migrating, mold-release additive. It provides anti-blocking performance at low temperatures, as it migrates to the surface of the polymer to form a thin lubricating layer. This layer reduces the coefficient of friction between surfaces and prevents any unwanted adhesion which is also useful for adhesives such as polyamide, EVA hotmelts and adhesive films. It provides low melt viscosity and good wetting resulting in improved adhesion. It is compatible with polyolefins. Optislip™ S (Powder) is used in adhesive and sealant applications. It is approved by FDA (175.105) and (175.300).
