Optislip™ OR (Pastille) (Formerly Crodamide™ OR (Pastille)) by Cargill is an animal-origin, mold-release additive. It is a primary amide with quick migration properties.
  • It forms a thin lubricating layer to reduce the coefficient of friction, preventing any unwanted adhesion.
  • It exhibits good torque release, high slip- and anti-blocking properties.
  • It shows composite lubrication, scuff- and scratch resistance.
  • It is compatible with PVC, EVA, nylon, TPE and polyolefin systems.
  • Optislip™ OR (Pastille) is used in adhesive and sealant applications.
  • The recommended dosage levels are around 500-2000 ppm in films and 0.2-1.0 % in molding applications.
  • Optislip™ OR (Pastille) has a shelf life of 180 days.
