B-Tough™ A3 by Cargill is a medium polarity, epoxy functional, reactive toughening agent. It provides impact strength to structural adhesives without impacting the hardness of the matrix.
- It protects substrates from moisture diffusion, extending the lifetime of the substrate.
- It is easy to formulate with and used in adhesives & sealants.
- It provides excellent stability and improved adhesion after humid aging.
- It enhances durability by absorbing microcracks caused by aging and thermal shock.
- Recommended dosage level of the elastomer phase is between 5 and 25%.
