Oppanol® B 14 N by BASF is polyisobutene. It is stabilized with approximately 500 ppm of 2,6-di tert-butyl-4-methylphenol (BHT). Shows chemical inertness and resistance to oxidative attack. It is tacky and highly viscous. Exhibits chemical resistance. Oppanol® B 14 N is used in pressure-sensitive adhesives and hot-melt adhesives for automotive and oil.
