Irganox® B 225

Irganox® B 225 by BASF is a blend of 50% Irgafox® 168 and 50% Irganox® 1010. Irgafox® 168 protects the polymers which are prone to oxidation and Irganox® 1010 contributes synergitically to polymer stabilization during processing. It is a processing and long-term thermal stabilizer with a relatively high phenolic antioxidant content. It maintains original melt flow and offers low color formation.

• It is compatible with polyamide, TPE, synthetic rubber, polyolefin and olefin-copolymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, engineering plastics, polyurethanes, styrene homo- and copolymers.
• Its recommended dosage rate in polyolefin is 0.1-0.25%.
• Irganox® B 225 is approved for use in food contact applications.
• It is AICS, DSL, IECSC, ELINCS, ENCS, ECL, TSA, PICCS, BUWAL and TSCA listed grade.
