Irganox® 1726 by BASF is a non-staining, non-discoloring multifunctional phenolic antioxidant. It contains 4,6-bis (dodecylthiomethyl)-o-cresol. It is low in volatility, resistant to extraction, and stable to light and heat. It effectively protects the substrate against thermo-oxidative degradation. It can be used with other additives such as primary and/or secondary antioxidants, carbon center radicals, such as benzofuranones, acrylates and /or vitamin E, light stabilizers, other functional stabilizers and fillers.
- Irganox® 1726 is compatible with SBS or SIS, natural rubber NR, chloroprene rubber CR and SBR.
- Used in hot melt, solvent- and water-borne adhesives.
