Irganox® 1520 L

Irganox® 1520 L by BASF is a multifunctional phenolic antioxidant based on 4,6-bis (octylthiomethyl)-o-cresol. It is non-staining, non-discoloring, low volatility grade. It is stable to light and heat. Provides both processing and long-term heat aging stability. Compatible with thermoplastic elastomers including BR, SBR, NBR, IR, SBS, and SIS as well as natural rubber. It can be used with other additives such as secondary antioxidants, benzofuranone, light stabilizers and other functional stabilizers. Its recommended usage level is between 0.05 and 0.3%. Irganox® 1520 L is approved in many countries for use in food contact applications.
