Irganox® 1076

Irganox® 1076 by BASF is a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant. It is highly efficient, non-discoloring stabilizer for organic substrates. It contains octadecyl-3-(3,5-di-tert.butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-propionate. It is odorless, stable to light and has excellent color retention. It has good compatibility with most substrates, low volatility and high resistance to extraction.

• It can be applied in polyolefins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene-1 as well as in other polymers such as engineering plastics, styrene homo- and copolymers, polyurethanes, elastomers and other organic substrates.
• Its recommended dosage rate in polyolefins is 0.1% and 0.4%, and in styrene homo- & copolymers is 0.1-0.3%.
• Irganox® 1076 is approved in many countries for use in food contact applications.
• It is listed in AICS, DSL, IECSC, EINECS, ENCS, ECL, TSA, PICCS, BUWAL and TSCA.
