Attagel® 19

Attagel® 19 by BASF is a specialty attapulgite. Provides sag resistance, viscosity control, spreadability and very good feathering at low cost. Offers syneresis (liquid separation) control, pigment suspension, good film build, reduced water sensitivity, bacteria, chemical and spatter resistance, very good binding and tabletting features and improved extrusion properties. Used as a very good thixotropic thickening agent for water-borne and solvent systems in adhesives, sealants and caulks. Suitable for use in applications where its higher residues are acceptable. Attagel® 19 gives high gel strength.
