TUFTEC™ M1943 by Asahi Kasei is a maleic anhydride modified styrene ethylene butadiene styrene (SEBS) thermoplastic elastomer and the ratio of styrene/(ethylene/butylene) is 20/80 wt%. Used as adhesives and sealants component. Suitable as an adhesive to metals and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Recommended for enabling impact modification of polyamide (PA) and polyester (PEs). It cab also be used as a compatibilizer of PS and olefinic and polar resins. TUFTEC™ M1943 complies with FDA 21 CFR FCN28 and EU Directive 10/2011.
