TUFTEC™ H1221 by Asahi Kasei is a hydrogenated styrene ethylene butadiene styrene (SEBS) thermoplastic elastomer. It is used as a sealant component.
- It is specially designed as a modifier to increase the flexibility of polypropylene (PP).
- Exhibits excellent resistance to hazing or whitening on bending.
- Offers softness and is a compatibilizer.
- It is recommended as a base polymer for SEBS molding compounds.
- Suitable for the use of an adhesive layer of protective films with hot melt and pressure-sensitive characteristics.
- TUFTEC™ H1221 meets USP Class VI standards and FDA 21 CFR FCN821.
