Nanostrength® M51 by Arkema is low molecular weight self-assembling block co-polymer. It has a central block of poly(butyl acrylate) surrounded by two poly(methyl methacrylate) blocks. Exhibits standard polarity with medium soft phase content. It imparts impact strength, high rigidity, modulus, chemical resistance, fatigue resistance, lap shear and transparency. Possesses compatibility with epoxy novolac. Nanostrength® M51 employs phenol novolac as the hardener.
