Vipel® K022 by AOC is a brominated bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin dissolved in styrene. This resin is inherently corrosion resistant and fire retardant. Offers excellent resistance to sustained heat as well as number of chemical environments.
- Some versions of this resin do not require antimony trioxide to meet ASTM E 84 class I flame spread and smoke requirements.
- Vipel® K022 is versatile because of its wide formulating capabilities which allow it to be used in many processes and for optimization of cost or performance.
