Vipel® F085-AAA-00 by AOC is an epoxy novolac vinyl ester resin dissolved in styrene. Acts as a corrosion inhibitor. It provides resistance to acids as well as bases and has superior resistance to many organic solvents. This resin is stable for seven months from the date of manufacture when stored in the original containers, away from direct sunlight or other UV light sources at or below 25°C. It is resistant to internal stress cracking under high loading and also to the liquids as well as vapors at higher temperatures than standard bisphenol-A epoxy vinyl ester resins. Vipel® F085-AAA-00 is well suited for use in the field of chlorine-alkali electrolysis and also suitable for moldings that are subjected to particularly high static as well as dynamic loads.
