Superpoly 40

Superpoly 40 by Akrochem is a specialty polyisoprene natural rubber. It is used in solvent-based adhesive systems to develop the body, resistance to cold flow and high temperature. This grade has the special ability to maintain a lower solution viscosity compared to a conventional natural rubber with the same mooney viscosity and concentration, thus higher solids levels are possible with the same viscosity. It has the ability to improve flow characteristics and increase mixed viscosities, which are advantageous properties to mixing, performing and molding rubber. Superpoly 40 is designed for gaskets and windscreen seals. Due to their unique two-phase structure, it is very clean, light in color and contains low levels of volatile matter.
