Akroform® Resorcinol-80/EPR/P

Akroform® Resorcinol-80/EPR/P by Akrochem is a polymeric dispersion of 1,3-dihydroxybenzene. It is combined with HMT donors along with silica to make rubber-to-fabric adhesion possible and contains EPR as a binder. In flakes or powder form, it requires high temperatures to achieve good dispersion. It allows lower temperature addition, reducing sublimation and improved adhesion. This masterbatch is an easy-to-handle polymer-bound dispersion providing better uniformity of mix at low temperature, upgrade plant safety, and quality. Recommended dosage level of Akroform® Resorcinol-80/EPR/P for fabric adhesion is 2.4-3 phr active resorcinol along with 1.6 phr active HMT.
