Waxes & Paraffins for Adhesives and Sealants

Sasolwax H1 by Sasol is a fully hydrogenated Fischer-Tropsch hard wax. It is available as coarse powder or pastilles. It is composed of hydrocarbon chains that are predominantly linear.

• It has high melting point, low viscosity, excellent hardness and has good heat stability.
• The linear molecule structure of Sasolwax H1 gives a hot melt adhesive the unique characteristics of low viscosity combined with high crystallinity, which ensures ideal performance properties in hot melt adhesives.
• Being highly compatible with typically used resins, EVA and metallocene polyolefin copolymers, Sasolwax H1 is ideally suited to the requirements of modern hot melt adhesives, particularly in packaging applications.
• Sasolwax H1 complies with European specifications for food additives according to E905, FDA CFR 21, Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 (Ref. 95859) and BfR (German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) XXV.

VENLOWAX PEF20 by Syntheo is a metal deactivator and primary, sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant. It is suitable for hot melt adhesive applications. It offers effective protection for polymers against thermal degradation and metal-catalyzed oxidation.

VENLOWAX EVA by Syntheo is a wax. It is obtained by co-polymerization of ethylene and the polar co-monomer vinyl acetate with high pressure polymerization technology. It provides excellent pigment wetting and dispersion, enables high-concentration masterbatch production, and offers low volatility and thermal stability.

• VENLOWAX EVA has a shelf life of 6 months.

VENLOWAX PE by Syntheo is a high quality, non-oxidized, apolar polyethylene wax. It is produced through a high-pressure polymerization process. It is an efficient external lubricant for rigid PVC applications. It shows strong improvement of processability.

DEUREX® E 11 B by Deurex is a non-polar polyethylene wax. Acts as a dispersing and release agent. DEUREX® E 11 B is suitable for use in hot-melt adhesives.

DEUREX® A 20 K by Deurex is an ethylene-bis-stearamide wax (EBS) grade. It acts as a dispersing and release agent. It is a temperature stable compound. It shows compatibility with polyvinylchloride (PVC). DEUREX® A 20 K is recommended for hot-melt adhesive applications. It complies with USA: FDA 21 CFR §§ 176.170, 175.300, 177.2470, 177.2480, 175.105 and 177.1200 regulations.

DEUREX® E 11 G by Deurex is a non-polar polyethylene wax. It acts as a dispersing and release agent. It's designed for the modification of hot-melt adhesive applications. It shows compatibility with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC) and polysulfide (PS). DEUREX® E 11 G complies with Regulation (EU) 10/2011, USA: FDA 21 CFR §§ 177.1520 (c), 21 CFR §§ 175.105 , 21 CFR §§ 175.300, 21 CFR §§ 176.170, 21 CFR §§ 176.180 and 21 CFR §§ 178.3720 for production of commodities intended to come in contact with food.

DEUREX® H 92 A by Deurex is a crystalline, hybrid of polyolefin and amide wax. It acts as a dispersing agent. It shows compatibility with polyvinylchloride (PVC). It offers improved anti-blocking, scratch- and rub resistance. It is designed for use in hot-melt adhesive applications. DEUREX® H 92 A complies with USA: FDA 21 CFR §§ 175.105, 21 CFR §§ 175.300 and 21 CFR §§ 176.170 regulations.

DEUREX® E 1101 W by Deurex is a water based emulsion of polyethylene wax containing an anionic emulsifier system. It offers increased slip, very good blocking- and scratch resistance. It exhibits high melting point, improved water repellency, increased surface gloss and surface smoothness. It is designed for use in hot-melt adhesive applications. DEUREX® E 1101 W is approved for the production of consumer goods used for food contact like Regulation (EU) 10/2011 and USA: FDA 21 CFR §§ 175.105. The shelf life of this product is 6 months.

NatureWax® S-113 Soy Base Stock by Cargill is a hydrogenated soybean glycerides. Used as a substitute for paraffin in wax applications.
