All Plasticizers for Adhesives and Sealants

DAPRO® FX 514 by Elementis is a VOC-free, low odor plasticizer prepared from renewable resources. It provides enhanced tackiness and flexibility. It is suitable for aqueous adhesives and sealants for flexible floorings and wood floorings.

• Recommended dosage level is 1-5% by weight of the formulation.
• DAPRO® FX 514 has a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture.

Benzoflex™ 2-45 Plasticizer by Eastman is oxydiethylene dibenzoate. It is an excellent solvator for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and also shows compatibility with it. Flexible vinyl formulations which are based on this plasticizer can be processed quicker and at lower temperatures than vinyl based on a di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate. Benzoflex™ 2-45 Plasticizer is resistant to extraction from the vinyl by aliphatic and oily solvents and thickens the polyvinyl acetate emulsions due to which the adhesives are comparatively stable.

Benzoflex™ 9-88 plasticizer by Eastman is a high solvating plasticizer. It is used in cyanoacrylate adhesives, latex caulks, polysulfide sealants, polyurethane adhesives and polyurethane sealants.

NK 2498 by NAYAKEM ORGANICS is a benzoate ester. It acts as a plasticizer. NK 2498 is used in adhesives, caulks and sealants.

NK 5357 by NAYAKEM ORGANICS is a benzoate. It acts as a plasticizer. Exhibits chemically stable properties and high boiling point. Possesses excellent compatibility with poly vinyl acetates and poly vinyl chloride. NK 5357 is used in food packing adhesives.

RX-13804 by Hallstar is a low polarity polymer modifier designed with excellent elastomer compatibility for various low-polarity thermoplastic olefins, thermoplastic elastomers and other low-polarity polymers.

Dibutyl Maleate (DBM) by Chemceed is a dibutyl maleate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is suitable for vinyl resins and copolymers applications involving PVC and vinyl acetates. Dibutyl Maleate (DBM)is used in adhesives.

Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) by Chemceed is a dibutyl phthalate grade. It acts as a plasticizer used in applications such as adhesives, lacquers and printing inks. It is used as a secondary plasticizer with other phthalates for highly concentrated PVC compounds. Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) is recommended for adhesives & cements, cosmetics, plasticizers, rubber, anti foam, insecticides and lacquers. It is also designed for lubricant, nail care, nail polish, solvent, textile lubricant and vinyl products.

Castor Oil First Special Grade by Darwin Chemical Company is triglyceride of fatty acid. It acts as a plasticizer. It contains ricinoleic acid cis-12-hydroxyoctadec-9-enoic acid, an eighteen carbon hydroxylated fatty acid with one double bond. Castor Oil First Special Grade is recovered from castor beans by use of hydraulic press in continuous mechanical screw expellers, followed by solvent extraction.

CALCIUM STEARATE POS by SO.G.I.S. Industria Chimica is an octadecanoic acid/ calcium soap. It acts as a plasticizer. Available in powder form. CALCIUM STEARATE POS is compatible with polyolefins and suitable for glues.
